Vegetable Stew or Pie
Ingredients
- vegetables
- meat broth
- cold water
- 1 tablespoon flour
Directions
- Use half as much meat broth and the same quantity of vegetables as for vegetable soup.
- Thicken with flour mixed with cold water, and you have a delicious stew.
- Or put the stew in a baking dish, cover with rounds of biscuit dough or with mashed potatoes, and bake in a hot oven.
