
Zavareny Okurky s Koprem (Dill Pickles)
Ingredients
- 2 heads dill
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 grape leaves
- cucumbers
- 10 cup water
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup salt
Directions
- In each quart jar place dill, clove garlic, grape leaves, alum (the size of a pea), cucumbers which have been washed and trimmed (if they are large they may be quartered).
- Bring to a boil and pour over the cucumbers, filling each jar with water, vinegar, salt.
- This will make about 4 quarts.
- Seal and allow to set for several weeks before using.
