
Tomato Welsh Rarebit
Ingredients
- 2 cup grated processed American cheese, (1/2 pound)
- 10 1/2 ounce tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- few grains pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions
- Melt cheese over hot water.
- Heat soup with all remaining ingredients except egg; add to cheese.
- Add egg.
- Stir over hot water 5 minutes.
- Serve on crisp toast or crackers.
