Spring Onions on Toast

Ingredients

  • spring onions
  • water
  • fat

Directions

  1. If you have an abundance of spring onions, allow 6 or 7 finger-size ones to each serving.
  2. Cook, green tops and all, until tender in lightly salted boiling water, about 20 minutes if onions are young and fresh.
  3. Season with melted fat and serve on toast.
