Clam Chowder II

Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 -4 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 2 cup diced raw potatoes
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 7 ounce can minced razor clams

Directions

  1. Saute bacon and onions together for five minutes, do not brown.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Add bacon and onions to potatoes, water, salt, and butter.
  4. Cook until potatoes are done.
  5. Add clams and milk.
  6. Heat just to boiling point and serve.
  7. (Do not boil).
