Broiled Swordfish Steaks
Ingredients
- 2 swordfish, , steaks about 1-inch thick (2 pounds)
- 1 teaspoon monosodium glutamate
- salt
- pepper
- melted butter, or margarine
Directions
- Sprinkle surface of fish with monosodium glutamate.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Place on greased broiler rack in broiler, with surface of fish about 2 inches below heat.
- Broil about 8 minutes on each side, brushing often with melted butter or margarine.
