Boiled Dressing for Marshmallow Pineapple Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/3 tablespoon flour
  • 2/3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/3 teaspoon butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 2/3 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon cream

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients ; then add butter and eggs and vinegar and cook in double boiler till thick.
  2. Cool and add enough cream to beat smooth.
  3. When cold, add best of cream, whipped stiff.
  4. Put in ice-box for several hours before serving.
