Sweet Potato Puff
Ingredients
- 30 large sweet potatoes
- 1 cup butter, or other fat (1/2 pound)
- 3 cup evaporated milk
- 4 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup sugar, (1/4 pound)
Directions
- Scrub sweet potatoes.
- Boil in jackets until tender.
- Peel and mash.
- Add butter, milk, salt, pepper and sugar.
- Beat until creamy.
- Pile lightly into a greased baking dish and bake in a hot oven (400f) until brown.
