Potato Stew

Ingredients

  • 4 pound potatoes
  • 2 quart of any kind of broth
  • 12 onions
  • 1 small piece of fat bacon

Directions

  1. Fry the onions with the bacon, then put them into a stew-pan with the potatoes and broth.
  2. When the potatoes are cooked the stew is ready.
  3. With a norfolk dumpling, this will make a good meal at a surprisingly low cost.
