Lettuce with Hot Dressing

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cm bacon in small pieces and fry slowly until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon, leaving 1 2/3 cups bacon fat.
  3. Add the salt, sugar, and milk to the bacon fat, then the vinegar slowly, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour over the lettuce.
  5. Garnish lettuce with 10 sliced hard cooked eggs and the small pieces of cooked bacon.
