Indian Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 quart evaporated milk
  • 3 1/4 quart boiling water
  • 2 cup corn meal, (10 ounces)
  • 5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 1/2 cup molasses

Directions

  1. Cook milk, water, corn meal and salt over boiling water 20 minutes.
  2. Add the washed raisins and the molasses.
  3. Pour into a buttered shallow baking dish and bake in a slow oven (300f) 2 hours.
