Hamburger Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of beef, cut from the round
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt or onion juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Grind the meat twice and add the seasoning.
  2. Shape into cakes two and a half inches in diameter and one inch thick, handling as little as possible.
  3. Place on a hot pan and cook under the broiler twelve minutes, turning when brown.
  4. Dot with butter and serve hot.
