  1. Chop onion fine; cook in a 10- inch skillet in fat or salad oil until golden brown.
  2. Add potatoes, meat, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, and water.
  3. Cover; cook until potatoes are tender.
  4. Thicken gravy with flour mixed to smooth paste in cold water.
  5. Heat thoroughly.
