Boiled Green Peas

Ingredients

  • green peas
  • water
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • mint
  • salt

Directions

  1. Shell and pick green peas over, wash them in cold water, drain them.
  2. Throw them into boiling water, add brown sugar, a little mint and salt.
  3. Boil until quite tender, drain off the water, and serve in a hot dish with the mint.
