Baked Tomatoes and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon cheese, cut fine
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup cooked celery
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Mix the tomatoes, salt, paprika, cheese and celery.
  2. Add half the bread crumbs.
  3. Pour into a well-buttered baking dish.
  4. Melt the butter, add the remaining crumbs and place on top of the mixture.
  5. Bake twenty minutes in a moderate oven.
