Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 quart cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Mix cream, sugar, vanilla and salt.
  2. Place in a scalded and chilled freezer.
  3. Turn until the mixture stiffens.
  4. Pack for two hours to ripen.
