Swedish Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 ounce cold roast beef
  • 4 ounce boiled potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
  • 4 ounce apples
  • 1 tablespoon chervil
  • 4 ounce pickled herring
  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 24 olives
  • 3 anchovies
  • 12 oysters
  • 1 tablespoon chopped gherkin
  • oil
  • vinegar

Directions

  1. Chop beef, potatoes, apples and herring into small cubes.
  2. Chop an- chovies.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together except the oysters.
  4. Pour over the mixture oil and vinegar to taste.
  5. Place oysters over the top.
