Summer Squash

Ingredients

  • 1 squash
  • 2 quart boiling water
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Cut in quarters, pare, and remove seeds.
  2. Cook till tender but not watery (30 to 40 min), drain and mash, then drain again and season.
