Spareribs, Sauerkraut and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 pound spareribs
  • 1 tablespoon fat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 quart sauerkraut
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 5 -6 medium potatoes
  • 2/3 cup water

Directions

  1. Brown spareribs.
  2. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Put sauerkraut in bottom of pan and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
  4. Place ribs and potatoes over sauerkraut; add water.
  5. Cover; bring pressure to 10 pounds and cook for 20 min.
  6. Reduce pressure normally 5 minutes, then place pan under faucet.
