Peach Cup

Ingredients

  • 4 halves of canned peaches, sweetened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. Mash two peach halves, add the egg, milk, vanilla, melted butter, flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Place a tablespoon of the mixture in the bottom of a well-buttered baking cup.
  4. Add a peach half, and cover with the batter.
  5. Sprinkle one tablespoon of granulated sugar on the top and bake twenty minutes in a moderate oven.
  6. Turn from the cups and serve hot with peach sauce.
