Peach Fritters



  1. Cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs and beat thoroughly.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together and add the milk slowly.
  3. Fold in peaches, lemon juice and vanilla.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat.
  5. Fry golden brown.
  6. Serve with whipped cream or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
