Blueberry Dessert Delicious

Directions

1. Sift sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt into mixing bowl.
2. Beat egg slightly; add milk and melted butter.
3. Add all at once to flour mixture, stirring just until blended.
4. Dredge berries with 2 tbsp.
5. Flour and fold gently into butter.
6. Spread in a greased 8 inch pan.
7. Sprinkle the 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar over the top.
8. Bake in a hot oven (425 f) for 25 minutes.
9. To serve, split squares of the blueberry cake, fill with sliced peaches, and top "sandwich" with whipped cream or ice cream.
