Horseradish Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, (1/2 pound)
  • 1 cup flour, (1/4 pound)
  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup horseradish

Directions

  1. Melt butter, add flour.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Add water and boil until slightly thickened, then add milk and continue cooking until thickened.
  4. When ready to serve add salt and horseradish.
