Green Peppers Stuffed with Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn pulp, cooked
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 green peppers

Directions

  1. Scoop out the contents of the peppers.
  2. Mix the corn, salt, egg yolk, milk, bread crumbs, pepper and sugar.
  3. Fill the peppers.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Place in a pan and bake thirty minutes in a moderate oven.
  6. Cover the bottom of the pan with water.
  7. Baste the peppers frequently.
