Green Peppers Stuffed with Corn
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn pulp, cooked
- 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 6 green peppers
Directions
- Scoop out the contents of the peppers.
- Mix the corn, salt, egg yolk, milk, bread crumbs, pepper and sugar.
- Fill the peppers.
- Dot with butter.
- Place in a pan and bake thirty minutes in a moderate oven.
- Cover the bottom of the pan with water.
- Baste the peppers frequently.
