Beef Tongue and Spinach (Smoked or Pickled)

Ingredients

  • smoked beef tongue, or pickled
  • salt
  • water

Directions

  1. Cover with cold water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until tender.
  2. Keep tongue in the liquid until cool enough to handle, then remove outer skin.
  3. Serve in thin slices, cold.
Note: Serve with Spinach, Boiled Potatoes
