Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 Jonathan apples
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • enough water, to cover

Directions

  1. Wash, pare, core and quarter the apples.
  2. Cover with water and cook until tender when pierced with a knitting needle.
  3. Add the sugar and cook five minutes more.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top when serving.
