Alumnae Taffy

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put sugar and water in a saucepan, and when the mixture comes to a boil add the melted butter and ginger.
  2. Boil without stirring until the taffy hardens quickly in cold water.
  3. Remove from fire and place in buttered tins to cool.
  4. Vanilla, or other flavoring, may be used instead of ginger, and nuts may be added, if desired.
