
Tomato Sauce III
Ingredients
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 slice onion
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Simmer the tomatoes, onion, bay leaves, cioves, sugar and water for fifteen minutes, rub through the strainer.
- Melt butter, add flour and salt, add strained tomato juice and pulp.
- Cook until the desired consistency.
