The Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup stock
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. For each cup of liquor, which is left in the roasting pan, add one tablespoon of flour.
  2. Mix the flour with two tablespoons of cold water, add the liquid slowly, and cook two minutes.
  3. Add one-fourth of a teaspoon of salt, and the giblets.
  4. Serve hot.
