String Beans with Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 cup string beans
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Remove ends and strings from green beans.
  2. Add water and cook over a moderate fire for twenty-five minutes.
  3. Drain off the water, add butter, salt and paprika.
  4. Reheat and serve.
