Soup Maigre
Ingredients
- vegetables, of any sort
- butter, dripping, or lard
- 3 eggs
- water
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Boil the vegetables till tender, pulp them through a sieve, add the water and stir in the butter, while boiling stir in the eggs, beaten to a froth.
- Plain boiled rice goes well with this soup.
