Quickly-Made Aspic Jelly

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon gelatine
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 pint water
  • 1 teaspoon yeast or meat extract
  • 2 teaspoon tarragon vinegar
  • seasoning

Directions

  1. Dissolve the gelatine in f pint of the water, add all the other ingredients and mix well.
  2. Use when the aspic is quite cold and just on the point of setting.
