Peanut Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pint shelled peanuts, chopped fine
- 1 pint water
- 1 quart milk
- 1 small onion, grated
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon corn, starch
- salt, as needed
- pepper, as needed
Directions
- Boil the peanuts in the water twenty minutes, or for five minutes if roasted nuts are used.
- Add milk, thickening, and seasoning.
