Directions

  1. Cut fish in four sections.
  2. Place in kettle of cold water, add plenty of salt and gradually bring to a boil.
  3. Do not boil lutefisk to long or it will fall to pieces.
  4. It may be boiled in a cloth bag, as it will keep its shape better.
  5. Drain and serve with melted butter.
