Koprova (Dill Cream Soup)
Ingredients
- 3 medium sized potatoes, cubed
- 3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 1/2 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill
- eggs, optional
- 2 teaspoon vinegar, optional
Directions
- Boil: potatoes, water, salt.
- When the potatoes are almost done, add sour cream (can be thinned with some milk) mixed with flour.
- When the soup comes to a boil add dill.
- Raw eggs may be dropped into the soup after it is thickened and cooked over a slow fire, or it may be served with hard boiled eggs.
- For added zest, vinegar may be mixed into the soup,.
