Dumpling Batter

Ingredients

  • 4 slices beef liver, ground
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, rubbed to a paste
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon minced parsley

Directions

  1. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well.
  3. If desired, 1/4 cup rice may be cooked in the broth before the dumplings are added.
