Creamed Salt Fish

Ingredients

  • 2 cup freshened salt cod, or finnan haddie
  • 2 cup medium white sauce
  • 2 hard-cooked egg, sliced
  • 2 cup boiling water

Directions

  1. Soak fish for 1 hour in cold water to cover, changing water twice.
  2. Drain; cover with boiling water; simmer 15 minutes; drain; flake; add to sauce with eggs.
  3. Serve with baked potatoes.
