Creamed Salt Fish
Ingredients
- 2 cup freshened salt cod, or finnan haddie
- 2 cup medium white sauce
- 2 hard-cooked egg, sliced
- 2 cup boiling water
Directions
- Soak fish for 1 hour in cold water to cover, changing water twice.
- Drain; cover with boiling water; simmer 15 minutes; drain; flake; add to sauce with eggs.
- Serve with baked potatoes.
