Corn Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Add milk (or part water) to corn: let stand 1/2 hour or longer, add salt, sugar, baking powder, flour, egg, well beaten, and fry to a golden brown.
