Chocolate Custard

Ingredients

  • 1 quart milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 ounce sugar
  • 2 ounce chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon rose water

Directions

  1. Chip the chocolate and add sufficient boiling water to make it smooth.
  2. Mix with it, gradually, the boiling milk.
  3. When cool enough, stir in it the beaten eggs, sugar, and rose water.
  4. Bake in a moderately hot oven.
  5. Serve hot.
