Chocolate Drop Cookies

Yield: 60 cookies



  1. Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  2. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and chocolate: beat well.
  4. Stir in milk, vanilla, walnuts, and raisins.
  5. Add sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
  6. Cover: chill 1 hour.
  7. Set oven for moderate 350f.
  8. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons on greased baking sheets 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
  10. Cool on racks.
