Chicken Baked In Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 young chicken, cut up
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup cream, sweet or sour

Directions

  1. Sprinkle the pieces of chicken with salt a nd pepper and dredge in flour.
  2. Place the melt butter and fry chicken until a golden brown on all sides.
  3. Chicken in a casserole, pour the cream over it.
  4. Cover and bake in a moderate oven (350-f) for 2 hours.
  5. Serve with gravy made from the pan fryings left after frying the chicken.
