Cherry Roll Delight

Directions

1. Sift all dry ingredients, cut in shortening.
2. Beat egg, add milk and vanilla.
3. Stir into dry ingredients.
4. Form into ball on floured pastry cloth.
5. Roll dough into rectangle 1/4 inch thick.
6. Brush with melted butter.
7. Cover with filling.
8. Roll as for a jelly roll.
9. Place in greased loaf pan 4 by 12.
10. Bake at 375f for 40 minutes.
11. Slice and cover with cherry sauce.
