
Cherry Filling
Ingredients
- 20 ounce frozen cherries, thawed and drained
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 -3 drops red coloring
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 2 tablespoon butter
Directions
- Reserved 1/4 cup cherries and juice for the sauce.
- Chop drained cherries and force excess juice through sieve.
- Add all other ingredients to the chopped cherries.
