
Cheese Custard II
Ingredients
- 1/4 pound cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon fat
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- cubes of stale bread, to partly fill baking dish
Directions
- Bake in a moderate oven until it gives custard test.
- Variation for cheese pudding: break the bread in pieces, have about 1 cup, and soak in the milk; add cheese, egg, etc and bake.
