Cheese Custard II

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon fat
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • cubes of stale bread, to partly fill baking dish

Directions

  1. Bake in a moderate oven until it gives custard test.
  2. Variation for cheese pudding: break the bread in pieces, have about 1 cup, and soak in the milk; add cheese, egg, etc and bake.
