
Buttered Vegetables
Ingredients
- 4 turnips
- 2 quart boiled salted water
- 2 tablespoon butter
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Directions
- Scrape carrots and cook 1 to 2 hours.
- Slice or cut in strips either before or after cooking.
- Add required seasonings or serve in 1 cup white sauce.
