Brown Bread II
Ingredients
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 cup water
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 tablespoon shortening
- 2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 2 1/2 corn
Directions
- Pour boiling water over raisins and let cool; add soda, add to water and raisins when cool; cream shortening with sugar, salt, eggs.
- Add to cream mixture, then add to water, flour, nuts.
- Fill cans half full (use no.
