Breaded Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Wash and look over the chops carefully to remove any particles of bone.
  2. Beat the egg yolk and water.
  3. Dip each chop into the egg mixture, and then roll in the crumbs, to which thc salt has been added.
  4. Place in a buttered pan, dot well with butter, and bake twenty-five minutes in a hot oven.
