Bramborova Polevka (Potato Soup)

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 medium onion, cut fine
  • 3 stalks celery, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 4 cup water
  • 6 cup milk

Directions

  1. Place onion, celery, salt pepper, diced potatoes and water in kettle.
  2. Cook until soft.
  3. Make a white sauce of the butter, flour, and milk.
  4. Add to soup and boil a few minutes.
  5. Serve.
