Bettina’s Baked Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 pound slice of ham, three-fourths of an inch thick
  • 14 cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon mustard

Directions

  1. Remove the rind from ham.
  2. Stick the cloves into both sides.
  3. Place in a pan just the size of the meat.
  4. Pour the vinegar, water, sugar and mustard (well mixed) over the ham.
  5. Baste frequently.
  6. Bake in moderate oven until crisp and tender (about forty-five minutes).
