
Bean Loaf
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 quart boiled navy beans
- 1 1/2 quart bread crumbs, (3/4 pound)
- 6 small onions, chopped
- 1 cup melted bacon, fat
- 6 eggs
- 3 tablespoon salt, (1 1/2 ounces)
- 1 1/2 quart evaporated milk
Directions
- Mash beans.
- Add other ingredients and stir to blend well.
- Pour into well greased baking pans.
- Bake in a moderate oven (375f) about 45 minutes.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
